One of the services offered by AutoPal Software is Technical Support. Technical Support can consist of both written or phone support. Technical Support may have usage charges associated with it, and as such it is important for you to keep tabs on your usage and remaining support minutes. Support time is billed in 1-hour increments, which add positive time to your account. Once you have reached a negative support balance, you will be billed for an additional hour which will add 60 minutes to your usable support time.
To access the Technical Support tab select, My Account > Technical Support. You will be greeted with the following page:
Once you are on this page you will notice it is broken into two primary sections, the “Currently Available” support time, and your Technical Support History.
- Currently Available Time: This section lets you know how much support time is available to use on your account. Every transaction logged will reduce this amount. When it hits a negative balance, the system will bill a new hour to the account, bringing the available time positive again.
- Technical Support History: This section gives you a breakdown of all support transactions. The log will give you the date of the transaction, a memo recorded by the support rep, the time used deducted (or added to the account in the event of the purchase of a new hour), and the remaining total of time.
Please note that the system will not alert you when your support time gets low, and it is your responsibility to stay up to date on this information.
