End User Website Loan Access Settings

General


The loan access settings for the customer website give you control over what customers can see and do when they log in to the end-user website. You can update loan access settings by navigating to Settings > Site Management > Access & Settings.

Website Access & Settings

On this page you can enable Google Translate throughout the site, elect to charge customers a fee for online payments, and access additional settings for the loans and applications sections.

To change the settings for either Google Translate or the online payment fee, click EDIT SITE SETTINGS.

Site Settings

Use the drop-downs to choose whether to charge a fee or use Google Translate. Click Save Changes.

To further control the Loan Access Settings, click the Edit Loan Access Settings. From this page you will see tabs that represent each section of the end user website that is accessible by the borrower. Within each section, you can customize and configure the access settings for each area that customers can see and access.

Loan Summary

End User Site Loan Summary

The loan summary area is divided into three sections: Allow Access,  Payment Information, and Collateral.  You can control what the customer can view in each area using the checkboxes to the left of each item.  The options available are:

  • Allow Access to the Loan Summary Section
    • This option lets you turn on or off the entire Loan Summary tab.
  • Payment Information
    • Amount Due – The amount that is currently due on the loan.
    • Next Payment Due – The date the next payment on the loan will come due.
    • Next Payment Amount – The amount of the next payment that will come due on the loan.
    • Principal Balance – The outstanding principal balance on the loan.
    • Days Past Due – The number of days the account is past due.
    • Payoff – The payoff amount for the loan.
    • Credit Limit – The credit limit on the loan.
    • Credit Available – The difference between the current principal balance on the loan and the credit limit (i.e. how much credit is still available).
  • Collateral
    • Collateral Title – The name of the unit of collateral.
    • Collateral VIN – Information entered in for the collateral VIN or serial number.
    • GAP Insurance – GAP Insurance information (if necessary).
    • Warranty Information – Information entered for the collateral warranty (if necessary).

Payments

End User Site Payments

The payments area of the loan access settings lets you control the types of payments and payment methods that can be accepted by the end-user website.  This page is divided into Eight sections: Allow Access to the Payments Section, Payment Options, Payment List, Payment Summary, Payment Types, Extra Towards, Payment Restrictions (debit), and Payment Restrictions (eCheck).  The options available for payments are:

  • Allow Access to the Payments Section
    • This option lets you turn on or off the entire Payments tab.
  • Payment Options
    • Credit/Debit Card Payments – Choose whether credit/debit payments are allowed on the customer website.
    • Bank Account Payments – Choose whether bank account payments are allowed on the customer website.
  • Payment List – Choose the data visible on the list of payments made on the customer’s account.
    • Payment Title – The payment title.
    • Date – The payment date.
    • Amount – The payment amount.
    • Payment Type – The payment Type.
    • View Receipt – Give the customer the option to view the payment receipt.
  • Payment Summary
    • View Principal Balance – Choose whether the customer can see the principal balance.
    • View Payoff Amount – Choose whether the customer can see the payoff amount.
    • View Current Amount Due – Choose whether the customer can see the current amount due.
    • View Next Payment Due – Choose whether the customer can see the next payment due date.
  • Payment Types
    • Make Regular Payments – Allows the customer to make “Regular” type payments.
    • Make P&I Payments – Allows the customer to make “P&I” type payments.
    • Make IFP Payments – Allows the customer to make “IPF” type payments.
    • Make Principal Only Payments – Allows the customer to make “Principal” only type payments.
    • Make Payoff Payments – Allows the customer to make “Payoff” type payments.
  • Extra Towards
    • Show Extra Towards (not changeable) – Allows the customer to see the current extra towards setting, but not change them. This will only affect “Between Periods” type loans.
    • Allow Customer to Select Extra Towards – Gives the customer the ability to select where the “Extra” portion of a payment applies. This will only affect “Between Periods” type loans.
  • Payment Restrictions (Debit) 
    • Set Maximum Payment Amount (Credit/Debit Card) – Set the maximum allowed amount for credit/debit payments.  This is done by making a selection from the drop-down.  Options include: Amount Past Due, Payoff, Principal Balance, Scheduled Payment Amount, Fees Due, Interest Due, Interest + Fees Due, Fixed Amount.  If you choose Fixed Amount, you will be shown another field where that amount can be entered.
    • Set Minimum Payment Amount (Credit/Debit Card) – Set the minimum allowed amount for credit/debit payments.  This is done by making a selection from the drop-down.  Options include: Amount Past Due, Scheduled Payment Amount, Fees Due, Interest Due, Interest + Fees Due, Fixed Amount.  If you choose Fixed Amount, you will be shown another field where that amount can be entered.
  • Payment Restrictions (eCheck)

Payment Profiles

The payment profiles area is divided into three sections: Allow Access to the Payment Profiles Section, Payment Methods, AutoPay Methods.  The options for payment profiles include:

  • Allow Access to the Payment Profiles Section
    • Choose whether the customer will have access to the payment profiles tab on the customer website.
  • Payment Profiles 
    • New Debit Card – Choose whether the customer can add a new debit card to their account.
    • New Checking Account – Choose whether the customer can add a new checking account to their account.
    • Edit Payment Profiles – Choose whether the customer can edit existing payment profiles.

Transactions

End User Site Transactions

This area only gives the option to show the transactions tab on the customer website.

Documents

End User Site Documents

The documents area lets you choose whether the customers will have access to the documents tab on the customer website.  You can also choose whether customers will have access to open or download documents from this tab.

Insurance

End User Site Insurance

The insurance area lets you choose to allow access to the insurance tab on the customer website and whether customers will have access to update their own insurance information.

Flooring Report

End User Site Flooring Report

The flooring report section is specifically designed to allow customers dealing with flooring loans to offer downloadable reports. This area is broken into three sections, Allow Access to the Flooring Report Section, Export Data Options, and Advanced Search.

  • Allow Access to the Flooring Report Section
    • Choose whether the customer will have access to the flooring report tab on the customer website.
  • Export Options
    • Export to CSV – This allows a customer to directly download a CSV copy of the flooring report.
    • Export to PDF – Allows a customer to directly download a PDF copy of the flooring report.
  • Advanced Search 
    • Primary Portfolio – Allows a customer to restrict the report results based on primary portfolio.
    • Secondary Portfolio – Allows a customer to restrict the report results based on secondary portfolio.
    • Source Company – Allows a customer to restrict report results based on source company.
